Merchandise sales are doing well, season ticket sales are doing well, attendance has been iffy.

Pretty decent attendance game 1 vs Pacers. Took the air out quite a bit losing that game. Yesterday was bad. Not to many showed (especially for 12k season ticket "packages") and the people that showed were pretty disappointed in the effort.
The mascot is widely regarded as hideous, but I guess they say no press is bad press.
Been pleasantly surprised at the amount of gear, etc. I see people wearing around town. The colors make it a little easier for guys to wear with everyday clothes. They aren't nearly as bright as the old ones. Better start showing better though or that gear will start collecting dust. It was almost sexy to be a Pels fan before the season started.

As always, winning and an exciting team will put people in the seats. We have neither, yet.

when they string together a few wins or beat one of the headlining teams, i think it will really help
on the surface it looks good, but the attendance has sucked

One thing i've been particularly surprised about was seeing a good percetange of fans in the nest wearing official pels gear. I was expecting a lot of hornets gear or generic red/blue tshirts and polos.

In general I still don't think anyone really gives a shite about the franchise
We need to start winning some games

Build a winner and they will come.

I think the genius of the logo design is the emphasis on New Orleans.

It's been established that a winning team makes all the difference for basketball in N. O. Second half of the 08-09 season was great.

Winning cures everything, I will say that I see a ton of people wearing pelicans gear around LSU
