I also have GB defense and it is a PPR league.

I am torn because I am playing against a guy that is about 53 points down but has Aaron Rodgers and Alshon Jeffrey.

Should I gamble and bench the GB defense or just roll with Boykin and GB?

Or Marshall and GB defense? Help!!!!!

You play Marshall and GB defense. No question.

One is a Top 10 fantasy WR and has been for years. The other is the third option in the passing game for his team.. But hey you do what you want..

But Marhsall also doesn't have a QB right now and will be cutting into my defense when/if he scores

You're over-thinking this.

GB won't score negative points, start them.

Marshall is a top 10 WR, start him.

Andre Johnson didn't have a QB last night either.

#1 rule in fantasy is never set your studs.

Case in point was Andre last night.

This exactly. I don't know why you think that benching GB's defense will help you at all. Regardless of what happens they are going to get you greater than 0 points. Brandon Marshall has much better odds to get good points than Boykin. He's going to get his points regardless and all that you do by sitting him is miss out on it.

So? You don't bench a guy because you're worried he's going to score....
He could catch 2 TD's and the Packers could have a pick 6 and a punt return TD and you will feel very silly

id go with Boykin. That way if Rodgers throws him a score, it will almost negate any score his way. You just need to squeak out a win!!

This is the kind of stuff I think about all the time. I like your style. That way I am not killing myself on the defense switch up between Marshall and GB.

I also have AJ on this roster. lol

My RB's sucked which is why it is still kind of close. (Dmac and Ryan Matthews)

Probably Jeffery even though I'm plaing against him tonight on my main team.

If it's PPR, then maybe Boykin, but I still think Jeffery has a higher ceiling.

You've boiled it down into a rooting interest instead of points scored for your team.

Rooting for GB isn't going to stop Marshall. As stated earlier, GB D won't score negative and unless you have Nelson, you're going to hoping that all of Rodgers targets go to your WRs instead of the #2 WR in FF.

Boykin has more targets, catches and yards than Nelson since he's become a starter the last two weeks.

It's not crazy to think Boykin, with the best QB in the league, will outscore Marshall with whoever is Chicago's current QB. GB has also been more stingy vs fantasy WRs than Chicago has. Tramon Williams can be a shut down guy.

If you plan to play Marshall, you almost have to absolutely bench GB Defense, as that is a win-lose situation

If the receivers you had to choose from were apples to apples, then yes. Brandon Marshall is the answer to this question.

Would you start Larry Fitz over Boykin?

Bowe?

Greg Jennings?

Sometimes, good WRs go as far as their shitty QBs. Though Marshall fared decent last time out.

James Jones would be the only thing keeping me from rolling Boykin with confidence over Marshall. Even so, Jones probably won't play too many snaps.
