Official All-Purpose Battlefield 4 Splooge Thread

Laundry list of Battlefield 4 YouTube videos on PS4 and Xbox One
Resolutions confirmed, compared, between PS4 and Xbox One 1600x900 on PS4, 1280x720 on Xbox One, both at a crisp 60 FPS.
All Levolution events detailed
Currently, it looks like the PS4 has the higher resolution than the Xbox One, but it is also apparent that it might not matter as both versions look incredible.
I also read that if you were thinking about getting the current gen versions to pass the time until next gen, it's well worth it because the current gen versions are really solid (for current gen, anyway).
Anybody else pick it up for PS3/Xbox 360?

Was watching a guy play it on PC last night. Looks fun as shite.
That and NBA2k14 will probably be all I get for PS4 until inFamous and Wtachdogs are available.

So PS4 has better resolution, aliasing, and has some graphical effects missing on Xbox One.
I wouldn't say either is a crisp 60fps. The digital foundry video showed both versions dipping frequently. The PS4 looked like it had slightly better performance here too, but I doubt anyone can tell the difference between 45 and 40 FPS. At least neither seemed to go under 30.

i thought this was a BF4 thread, but it's apparently a PS4 vs XboxOne thread. shocking....
Pevy/Jcing, yall gonna be scooping this up today?
Your unlocks and level transfers over to the XBone because of BattleLog and if you buy it from GameStop it only cost $10 to upgrade to the next gen version.
Seems like a no brainer to me.

PC players...are any of you experiencing slow load times into a new map? I had this issue during beta for about 3 days then they patched beta and everyting was just fine. Release hits and I'm back to the point that when I finally get in everyone is halfway across the map.
I saw some similar posts on the BF4 forums and the usual answer is get a SSD which I'm probably going to order one this weekend but they fixed the issue during beta so I'm hoping maybe they do the same now.

Just bought BF4 yesterday. Long-time COD player and I decided to make the switch. It's hard getting used to not worrying about my K/D. But man do I fricking suck!? I can't survive longer than like 30 seconds in Conquest with all the frickin vehicles flying around. I find that I like team deathmatch the most. Any tips for a beginner?

Just played for the first time ever, seems better for first timers than COD went 10-5 in team death match. Seems like you may also be paired with new players since everyone was ranked relatively low.
All the different options feel intimidating though, haven't a clue about vehicles. Is there a good tutorial or way to learn?
