Yikes

Can't say much, I decided not to go. Rather cook with friends and watch football all day.

Didn't go to Towsen last year, either.

LSu fans only show up for big games. The A&M game will be the only game where everyone shows out this season

if LSU had separated Furman from the rest of the season tickets, I'm sure that 90% of those people probably wouldn't buy the tickets to that game alone. Ask the LSU Administration why they scheduled Furman. People bought the tickets because they had no choice if they want to keep their season tickets and purchase tickets to the other games.

I was more than impressed with the crowd for this game. The NEZ was pretty full as was the SEZ. It's Furman. I expected less than 50K.

Original thread.. These types of Situations are on the Athletic department for scheduling a fcs school in November, the week after announcing a desire to increase ticket prices, added to losing to Ole Miss the week prior and throw in what our Home schedule looks like next year..pffft Im surprised that many showed up

I wish it had been a full house, but the crowd was better than I expected, and the crowd stayed longer than I expected, especially the students. Florida was embarassing. I'm not going to get too up in arms about the Furman turnout. Let's see what happens for A&M and Arkansas.

Looks OK to me. Are you really expecting a packed house every game?

Of course, everyone wants to see a packed house for homecoming, but lets be real here.....LSU was playing Furman. That's pretty good, imo.

I say thank you to them because I got badass tickets for free, parking was easy, and there was barely any traffic after the game. And since this was one of my only chances to be in town for a game this season, I thought it was awesome as hell and worked out great for me.

Also, anyone that wanted to go to the game could have bought tickets or got them for free outside the stadium, so where were all the people who normally are bitching about not getting tickets? They should have gone to this game.

The fact that it was homecoming is the only reason TS wasn't completely empty. If Furmam came to play on a random Saturday night, no one would go.

ETA: You must have really been bored at the game if you had time to take a picture of the crowd and note how much time was on the game clock. How about you just enjoy the game with the people you're with and stop thinking about the thread you're gonna start on Monday morning.

I was at the Tulane game in the Dome last Saturday. Dome was completely packed.
