slight difference from saying that LSU doesn't cover a 47 pt spread and the game being a shootout

So if we don't cover 47 points that obviously means it will be a shootout.

The shoot out comment was a joke, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the defense struggled with this spread offense.

Come on guys. I'm kidding.

Furman may put up more points than expected but we should curb stomp them.

Official LSU vs Furman prediction thread:

if it's not a beatdown we're toast in two weeks. hopefully we gameplan to allow Mett/team to regain some confidence. we need to put, at the very least, 24 pts on the board by halftime. you asked.

get better, get better, get better.

There's absolutely no way we don't put up 40+ on Furman.

The same way we won't lose to an injury plagued Ole Miss team.

if fricking Furman scores 24 points against us, at home, Alabama is going to beat us like they did Arkansas.

Tigers win and defense looks strong in victory holding Furman to 9 pts and only 250 yards of offense.

After the game Miles proclaims the defense "fixed" and he's excited about his "damn strong team"
