Furman 56
LSU 53

Furman kicks GW field goal with :02 left from the 3 yard line. Miles saves all three second half timeouts for icing purposes, then forgets to ice.

There is still a game? I thought the Tiger players boycotted, grambling about something or other.

Tigers - 30
Pals - 20

Our defense helps keep Furman respectable. Offense plays down to their level.

These stats seem to indicate the return of the Les Miles offense from the past 2 years. If so, you can wave bye bye to Cam Cameron because he'll be gone at the first available opportunity.

Yes, a vanilla gameplan against a 3-4 FCS opponent usually does propel OCs to bolt.

I'm basing that on his comments. Mett will be in the virtual dog house for this one (15 attempts), but he has to continue to work the recievers. Hoping the backup gets some substantial PT (at least a quarter).

Thanks Teufelhunden. Caused me to do the Muttley laugh. And I needed it.

And an order of thighs, too.

Why does anyone schedule a wedding during football season? And then get irritated when people want to watch the game!

My interest in this game is damn near non-existent. Of course, we will win and win handily. But, what does a win against Furman mean?

Anyway, enough of me bleeding all overm myself.

I predict 6 more dumb timeouts, with 2 coming after a stoppage of play

41-16 LSU. Not sure what to think here. Is the team down or ready to prepare for a huge game at Bama.
