Dude was Beast in New Orleans. He took some major blows as did everyone in the day.
It's a darn shame these guys suffer in their old age. I'm not so sure the NFL is to blame though. The NFL provided these guys the platform to promote their career and money. Didn't they CHOOSE to follow that path?

So, with this horrible situation...as tough as it's been for him...and with all of the anecdotal evidence of his peers who can't take care of himself, he would do it again.

At least 50% of the blame goes to the players.

I remember him well. He was one of our few bright spots back in those days.

That's cool to see that he retired in Louisiana. I guess he found a home there.

Wasn't Derland Moore in the Saints United Way commercial in the 80's. They must not do those anymore. There used to be one for each team.
