I was looking through the TAF Membership Guide and noticed this interior picture of the current south endzone expansion (top left) on Page 18. I don't think this picture was officially released with the others and if so, I have yet to see it on TD. I took a screen shot of the page so it's hard to see much detail

Few things I noticed if these plans stay intact:

1) They're installing a "Welcome to Death Valley" sign between the premium seating. It looks like it will light up & will look similar to what they added to the West side of the stadium last year.

2) The 2 new screens are going to be bigger than I anticipated. I'm assuming standing room only will be the area below it? According to this pic - Coke, Verizon, and LSU Health will have ads on the new screens. I guess that will clear up the north scoreboard from being ad-galore. Gotta pay the bills

3) I'm assuming the red streaks will be new running video panels. It looks like they'll also attach a video panel across the existing yellow fencing too (see arrow below)

Old Picture:

Tiger Stadium will only be better nicer than before & shite ton louder than before.

Looks nice, that standing room only may turn out to be the difference from the 99,999 and 103,500 thats been going back and forth.

Or at least i hope so. If it turns out to be 99,999, someone needs a...

I don't know why they would only list 4 of our SEC championships?

Render can't be 100% accurate, there are not enough ads on the screens.

We better get over 100k.

Like it or not, our program is engaged in a dick-size contest with Alabama.

Christ, how many Coca-Cola, Verizon, and McDonald's ads do we have to have cluttering our scoreboards??

shite, let's build giant statues of each company in the background of the stadium but for fricks sake LEAVE THE STADIUM ALONE WITH THESE ADS. FRICK.

Yes my jimothies are rustled like leaves from a stiff breeze in the Appalachians!!!

Glad to see a bright "Welcome To Death Valley" sign. No subtlety needed.

Anyone else frustrated with the design of this?

LSU has essentially capped it's capacity in the stadium with this construction. Since there is no real way to add on to the North End Zone, there is no more room for expansion after this. With such minimal gain in capacity, and using up the last viable expansion space for more club seating, I can't see why anyone should be that excited about this.

Maybe it's a sign of the times. Why expand affordable seating for people to not show up or buy tickets and leave at half time. Cater to the big $$$ and forget about adding more affordable seats.
