he was single covered by a rookie. Just because other wrs ran routes in the same area and their man got within a few yds of graham after the ball was in the air and Graham's man was beaten doesn't make him 'triple covered'.

Here are Graham and Gronk's career stats, for those who were wondering:

Graham- 50 games played, 242 receptions, 3,106 yards, 31 TD's.
Gronk- 43 games played, 187 receptions, 2,663 yards, 38 TD's.

Im just throwing this out there, and I will admit that Im a little biased on the topic because im a saints fan..

but Tony Gonzalez who is one of the best TE's to ever play is not nearly as good a receiving talent in his prime as Graham. Maybe not blocking wise, but as far as catching the football and making plays, god damn we have a talent Ive never seen before.

Over 20% of Gronk's receptions are touchdowns. That's ridiculous.

Pretty damn ridiculous. You know it's going to Gronk in the redzone, and you won't stop it.

The Saints didn't really start to use Graham until the 2nd half of the 2010 season, because they still had Shockey. I'm sure he'd have a few more touchdowns if he'd have been THE tight end from the start of that year, and more yards.

Gronkoswki's touchdown ratio is still unfathomable to me though.

When Rob Gronkowski is healthy, he is the best tight end in the game. He has better receiving stats, efficiency stats, and is probably the best blocking tight end in the game.

Jimmy is a fantastic threat, but a healthy Gronk is better.

Oh, and Calvin Johnson is head and shoulders the top receiving threat.

All of this.

He is as much of a mismatch as any receiver in the league. You could make a very strong case for Graham.

You have to consider that graham is usually matched up v nickle backs or safeties and megatron isn't.
