Sonofabitch - I enjoy Olive St quite a bit. Great lunch date spot for Mrs NB and I. Hope no one was hurt.

Chianti and L'taliano have better tortellini anyway. Last time I was at Olive St. there were flies/bugs everywhere. Bout time it had a good ole fashioned insurance fire.

Last time I went it was only average, but I've love that place for years. Heck, took my prom date there. Sad to see it burn.

That whole area over there is becoming a wasteland. Is the fountain apts open still?

I can't say I didn't think that as well...especially since unnamed sources had apparently told someone I know months ago that it was going to close down...
Shady shite
But I'll still miss It, it was one of my favorites, plus now what will I say in the twice-weekly "where can I eat in Shreveport" threads that clog the OT......

I know someone living in the Fountain Apts, apparently they did a big renovation just a little while ago.

I know a girl that lives in those apartments. I really wonder about that area. I lived on fairfield near betty virginia, but seems we had a lot of undesirable foot traffic. The further north you get, the scarier

never been a fan of olive street. l'italiano's tortellini is really good, and everything else I have had there as well.

Drove by it this morning. It completely burned the middle of the middle to the ground. Total loss by the looks of it. Good resturante but going downhill fast. Last few times I went, food was ok and I am no food snob.
