That being said this is just a awful awful idea. I get pistol, hell that's what everyone called him. It wasnt just a nickname it was his "name".

I actually like this idea. Teams to have one jersey with player nicknames on back. I think it could sell well with fans. I'm all in for that black mamba 24 jersey.
