The weather today was brutal.
Kudos to all who even showed up in that mess today.

USC and Miami have gotten by with empty stadiums, for years. The downfall of LSU is upon us!!

Well empty seats in perfect weather against top competition hasn't stopped Miami from getting recruits sooooooooo I think we will be ok.

Also, SVP says no.

Recruits are smart enough to realize bad weather = people leaving. Hope they all enjoyed the game

happened last week too. haven't seen it at lsu in many years on consecutive weeks, especially not against a quality sec team (they were 3-0 under first year coach who helped lead them to nc) we sure could've used some of that home field advantage in the second half. not a good sign in any respect. i can't see the same happening at bama. and do you not think saban will take advantage of video from half time on as part of his recruiting scheme to lure recruits also interested in bama?

not true. miami has sucked for years and usc only in the last couple of years with kiffen. do yo know the background of usc fans? check out their tuition. these are entitlement babies. i'm not sure about miami (and don't care), could be either thugs or the wealthy, they have both in the area.

I would think that recruits are smarter than the average rantard, and they'll note that LSU had a 21 point lead, and it was friggin raining! Of course people left to get dry and party indoors.

Most of the times there is a negative thread started here I see a name I have never seen before...for example: C3W.

I decided to do something I hardly ever do and check your post history because I am baffled how those who rarely or never post here all of a sudden are concerned about the LSU program.

You posted here last in 2009 and as I expected you spend a lot of time on the OT...please go back.

The recruits aren't talking about how everyone left. They're talking about how dominate we were and how loud it was to start the game.

Interested to know where you got these statistics? I drive to the Saints on Sunday's. Should I be leaving at half?
I never leave either stadium before there are nothing but 0's on the board.
It's a decision, make the right one.

I think that they saw the roads. They were also soaking. They saw the game and knew we had this. Do I wish the crowd had stayed. SURE. But I have neighbors who had tickets but couldn't make it because of flooded homes. Not just covered roads.

It wasn't an official for any of them. In the immortal words of The Terminator.... "THEY'LL BE BACK!"

Sure. And Miles will show the video of Bama's lackluster performance at home against some non-SEC team to do the same. All that talent and this non-SEC team holds your team in check until the 4 quarter?

At least Auburn has top 20 talent.

I wish we could start a re-fill the stadium program where those leaving could let LSU fans take their ticket stubs and fill the stadium back up for the 2nd half. Either use ticket stubs given out to new seat fillers or just let the kids in well into the 3rd q'ter to refill the stadium. It could be done, let high school players in free for the last 1/3rd of the game for recruiting and fan noise too.

Seems like this would discourage a recruit and considering we have like 3 elite recruits visiting I'm a little concerned. Any thoughts?

people leave 21 point games in the rain early. Act like you've been there before.

People who leave early are not real fans
