My Aggie friends all think LSU is a great team. They always make me feel better after reading this board.

A&M is a class act. Neighbor here in FL panhandle is retired AF Colonel from the Corp... He watched and cheered as we beat Oklahoma for NC. Great addition to conference. Does anyone still remember that Mizzou is in the SEC?

I appreciate the kind words.

I'm hoping the LSU/A&M game will become a yearly battle that both fan bases look forward to. The future it bright for both programs and the game contains loads of potential

ETA: Coach Les Miles is the man, I hope he goes all the way soon solely for the haters, He graduated with an economics degree from one of the greatest public universities in the nation -- the University of Michigan. He's a brilliant man with a brilliant personality.

Time will show mofos

I mean, I really like Les Miles but "brilliant"? No, that's not Les. He's surely above average, but that's a bridge too far, even for me.

Also, Michigan is a good school, but you don't have to be terribly bright to get a degree from there. The best public university is a far cry from the top private ones.

That's what they want you to think for sure.

Thanks for the nice words. My sister went to Baylor and the only games I would consider going to while she was there were the A&M and Texas games. Of course, this was mid-late 80's when you were still in the SWC. I loved going to the game at Kyle Field because of the tradition and passion of the Aggie fanbase. You guys are a perfect fit for the conference despite what some of these other asshats tell you.

Jesus....our fan base is something. People post on here opinions where they believe LSU has weaknesses...or won't beat Bama...or whatever they think with respect to why LSU may not win it all this year, and they are berated as dumb trolls who just don't get it. This guy posts a fluff piece (which I truly liked the sound of) and all of a sudden, b/c its entirely pro-LSU is "honest and insightful". I am excited about this team...but the mindset/thought processes that some have on here are just comical. Either get on here and blow our team, or you are an idiot who knows nothing about football. Anybody else.notice this trend??? God I love this place. Geaux Tigers!!!

but LSU is perennially one of the least disciplined good teams around on defense. Stupid, self-inflicted penalties galore

At least our players aren't doing things like taking money from agents?

I grew up about a 30min drive from College Station...Back in the 90's the script was flipped...A&M was the power house and LSU was the wanna be...I was pretty upset when the SWC went away but the Aggie tradition and game day fun was always great at Kyle Field...Im happy I got to experience that as a teenager growin up in Texas( Really miss the end of Year Bon-Fire before the Texas game hopefully might come back one day )....LSU has always been my first love(Thanks Dad)...but The Aggies are a fairly close second...This post is a truthful representation of what most Aggie fans think...Aggies get alot of Flack in Texas...but they know good Coaches and football when they see em.....Aggies should have been in the SEC from the end of the SWC...Nice Post!
