The one thing about that thread that may have a shred of truth to it was one of them mentioned that it was much worse in BR around '99-'00 ish. We were just coming out of the 90's so we were bitter, we weren't good yet but we had seen the light and we had tons of hope, and hope + alcohol = confidence/cockiness.
Plus, Tubberville was a huge dick and they had just beaten us and then kicked up the tiger eye, smoked cigars on our field, and fricked with TGBFTL during the halftime show so we may have had a little extra hate for Auburn back then. But they brought it upon themselves IMO.

My favorite Lsu/auburn story is of the guy that squat shite on the hood of an auburn fans car with the wife and kids in it.

I've gotten where I don't even mind opposing fanbases creating these myths. Embrace it. Watch the one's who will believe such things cower as they wander down Dalrymple looking for the Indian Mounds.
and don't forget Tiger fans, it was the Aubbies that misplaced the corndog tag from Neb to us. At least these posts on scout have more imagination. They're improving.
