Something like that makes sense.
The reason for the cartoon-y logos are to market merchandise to women and kids. But when they screw up and stick something terrible like Toonces on every thing, it becomes an embarrassment. I don't mind that "walking tiger" look.

Well hopefully TV outlets stop using him when they talk about us. ESPN switched to the geaux font logo last year but theres still plenty of websites (yahoo) and magazines using that clown.

It's instantly recognizable, is unique, and looks damn good. The "electrical tape" letters on our helmet now are from the 70's, when someone invented them out of this air. Well, now we've invented the Geaux font, which looks awesome, so let's make the transformation complete and update our helmet. And if the Tiger Eye is good enough for our midfield logo, it should also be on the helmet.
