from what i have seen on tape Smith has better hands and route running skill than Dlo, I think Gordon surprises this season, I also do not think it is a stretch saying Smith is possibly the most skilled from the lot.

Who cares. Name one TE since Dickson in the BCS game versus Ohio St that has had a significant impact in a game.

Maybe you missed it since you were too busy shitting on Miles, but we hired a new OC that has a history of utilizing TE's in the passing game.

I doubt Gordon is 280. He dropped that weight during fall camp last year.

Dickson gets the start

Desean Smith on obvious passing downs

Gordon/Stokes on goaline packages or obvious block situations

I think Gordon will probably be the biggest surprise.

My feeling is that Dillon Gordan will be our No.1 TE when the season starts, with DeSean Smith waiting his turn as the No.2 string in the passing game. When it comes to running the ball, I believe Logan Stoke will get his chance beside Gordan.

Not sure where you are getting that. Dickson is the top returning TE and had a good spring game. Gordon I believe will see a lot of PT in the running game and in two TE sets. Stokes and Smith will likely see action as well.

The QB's threw more passes to the TE's in the spring game than all last season I think. I don't know if this was just because the QB's called the plays or Cam is going to use this tool this year...

We're going vertical this season: Dickson and Smith at TE, 0 backs and 3 WRs: Beckham, Landry and Leslie.

This.

We didn't utilize the middle of the field last year and Cam will fix that. A TE 15 yards down in the middle of the field, should be ran 3-5 times a game. Desean Smith could be a bigger asset than we think.

I think it will be Stokes at TE and Dickson at H-back. Gordon backs up both positions and Smith plays a hybrid type of role.

I really hope Smith learns how to block because it would be impossible to stop the guy if you didn't know when a pass was coming.

His offense didn't change after he was fired. But the players played much harder. It was basically a wake up call for the whole team. Motivating people to work harder.

You're really an idiot if you think his whole career is a laughing matter. At worst he was a top 15 offensive coordinator in the NFL. At best he had some of the best offenses in the last decade. Developing elite players along the way.
