Superior Grill...the Missus and her family really like the place. They threw the surprise 60th birthday party for her mom there. Good atmosphere, we know a bartender there, good drinks, decent food.

It used to be Chelsea's for a while, but I feel like the food quality dropped off. And it used to be every time I went there, I would run into a bunch of people I knew. But folks stopped going there for some reason. Maybe the food, maybe the fact they stopped getting good bands, maybe people moving on.

Personally, I feel like I don't go to Louie's Cafe or the Chimes enough. But that may be good. I might weigh 400 pounds if I went to those places on the reg.

Pho 94. Aprox 3x per week. I'm basically like their very own adopted white boy at this point.

Don't really have any go to places.

I like Flemmings or Ruth's, Louisiana Lagniappe, Mason's, Dempsey's, Byronz, Red Zepplin, etc.. It depends what I want to spend and what I am hungry for.

I use to frequent Chimes and Sammys, but just find them to be very bland and generic. There dishes lack anything special. I have never understood the obsession with Chelsea I have tried many items on their menu you and find none to be good.

Never said I was obsessed with any of the places. But for the price, they're hard to beat. Particularly Chelsea's IMO. Different and unique menu, good specials and cool atmosphere.

Just said I don't frequent any place. I like Mason's burgers. So if I want one I will sometimes go there.

Nothing wrong with any of those places. In fact, each one of those does certain things very well and if I lived anywhere else in this region, I'd still go to these places.

Hey, I went to LSU too. I can tell you if those were my regular places I would look to move.

Sorry, but if Chelsea's is one of your least favorite restaurant in BR, your opinion means jack shite.

They serve items that no other restaurant, much less other casual restaurant, in the city serves. They bake their own bread for sandwiches, burgers, etc. in house. They have awesome food, and don't cut corners.

Other than Bistro Byronz, I don't think there's another casual place in the city worthy of such praise.

Dempsey's

I'm not knocking my own workplace, but the food is your basic fried seafood and chicken sandwiches. Chelsea's is much better than Dempsey's.
