What do you think the NCAA would do of the final scores in the Final Four were 25-23 and 28-24?

It really has taken away an integral part of the game at the hopes of making the game look "legitimate" in the eyes of MLB fans to expand the market by seeing less 10+ run games and hearing less ping.

The old bats may have had a little too much carry but I remember aces would still shut down the big boys and staff ERA's could still be under 4.

ESPN would implode. Unfortunately for college baseball fans...ESPN doesn't give a shite. They'd rather ask if Pop should rest his players in Game 7.

They have that already, it's called the women's final four.

ESPN holds all the cards. They'll move the wall in next season.

Big field, dead bats, low scores and a premium on pitching.

All that goes to show, Arkansas really fricked up by losing last year. Couldn't even win when the cards were stacked in their favor.

This style of baseball is called softball.

For anyone saying "adapt", yeah, lets recruit the softball team or a bunch of 5'6" dudes to drag bunt regardless of baseball talent.

When a pitcher can leave a hanging curve to you best power hitter that smacks it squarely and the home run to fly out potential is 20/80, something is wrong.

Most soccer games have higher scores than this.

So you need great pitching and hitting to get to the CWS. But when you get there....crappy pitching and hitting will almost guarantee you a spot in the championship.

Got it....FML

I'm not sure why that would be a bad thing. They sound like pretty close games.

ESPN just showed the Yankees game highlights and there was a nice mix of HRs, singles, etc. 6-4 game. That's baseball.

All NCAA HCs should start recruiting lineups of nothing but Pete Rose and Rod Carew..

High BA/OBP flare-shooters that can loft it over the infield and/or shoot it in the gaps.

Maybe a few power hitters to ride the pine too..just in case weather allows for a few strong wind blowing out days.

^^^SARCASM^^^

NCAA Baseball has restrictor plate racing..and they love the perpetuated pathetic pitiful punchless parity!
