He had the aderall controversy, had the MLB Draft to distract him, came to the Box, and pitched his arse off. You can count the pitchers better than him on one hand. Too bad for him he faced one of them tonight.

And I am not an OU apologist. I probably made 100 posts in the Jonathan Gray thread

No. Nola doesn't have near the stuff Gray has. Nola may have out pitched him tonight, but look at the difference in lineups. Ours is a much better lineup than OU's.

Not taking anything away from Nola, but this NOla>Gray crap lets me know who knows baseball and who does not.

Probably the best we'll see all year.

And we got to him in the end. I like that.

Future CY Young winner. Maybe more than once. 98 mile an hour fastball, 70 mile an hour change, curve or whatever. He is going to be a great MLB Pitcher. ACE

He was damn good until the eighth, I'm convinced it's impossible to pitch a full game against us.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to reach the Rockies roster.

Gray is indeed a beast, big time stuff. He overmatched several of our hitters even the third time thru. Bregman even looked ordinary against him.

Great game maybe the best pitcher's dual Ive seen at the Box.

It took an all out effort from Nola and the rest of our players to beat him, including our coach making some very key moves.
That was a classic!

MLB teams learned a few days ago that Oklahoma
quote:

right-hander Jonathan Gray tested positive for the banned stimulant Adderall during the league's mandatory drug testing for the top 200 prospects in each draft class (as determined by MLB's internal scouting bureau). Because many current big leaguers use the drug after gaining therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs) from the league, Gray's test results aren't likely to significantly affect his draft stock, although there could be some subtle ripple effects

and it doesnt hurt to have a little illegal help. I'll give him Barry Bonds props.
