Pesto stuffed rack of lamb, Lafitte's Landing@ Bittersweet Plantation.
A grouper filet from a grouper that was barely of legal size, straight back to the camp. lightly dredged in Breadcrumbs and Cavendar's Greek Seasoning and paneed in EVOO and Butter. Perfection.

Panéed steaks of ling over pasta with some sort of lemon/butter sauce. Big ole fried softshell crab on top. Was amazing.

I make it home once a year for Thanksgiving or Christmas, so to me the best tasting things come from my grandmother's kitchen. Her cornbread dressing, some fried turkey, her lemon meringue pie...all of these things just blow my mind every single year. It doesn't matter how many "fine" meals I have all year long, nothing tastes as good as that to me.
