They (libs) can't seem to grasp the concept that criminals have always and will continue to unlawfully CC, and that legislation such as this has no bearing on them.

She did an excellent job
Of being the same mouthpiece of liberal media. Someone needs to run that for plaigarism. She is saying nothing new that uninformed liberal morons have been speaking for months now.

My reply:
Ms. Dunbar,
Thankfully, we don't have to worry about "negatives in your book" becoming law just because you state it.
"Who wants it to be legally easier for more people on the streets to carry their own guns for a longer period of time?" I do. Myself, as well as most of the people I personally know.
"Are we planning to return to a post-apocalyptic military state soon?" Counter question. Do you think it's okay for the federal government to regulate when and where we can practice our rights as outlined in the Constitution of the United States?
"We don’t need this. If anything, we need tighter restrictions on who’s allowed to buy and keep guns." Please refer to the previous statement.
"Those who oppose restrictions might think they would work against law-abiding citizens being able to protect their families, but I disagree." The same Constitution entitles you to do just that.
Please at least backup your opinions with facts in your future endeavors.

Can someone provide me the statistic of percentage of gun crimes being CCL holders?

So she just got a picture of some random black guy with a pistol just sitting in his pants while his finger is in the trigger? Smart
Oh yeah, IWNHI. That speaks volumes because I will bang anything that doesn't waddle

It was written by a 19 yr old female, it was terribly written, facitious, overly wordy and just outright ignorant. There is just no quality control at the Reveille anymore.
This quote tells me that a tops scholarship and a college education has been wasted.

Can yall take a look at this to make sure the facts are accurate before I post? Thanks
quote:
Less than 1% of gun crimes are committed by Concealed Carry License holders. You also failed to realize that with this lifetime CCL, an individual still has to go through training to maintain the license every 5 years. This only cuts out the paperwork (in effect, allowing state workers to use time and money elsewhere). Research goes a long way in journalism, but it is apparent most college writers tend to regurgitate mainstream media rather than finding out the facts on their own. Why make it harder to obtain a CCL? So the criminal knows the odds the person they are about to rob is carrying a gun is much lower? It is documented that crime is lower in areas with a higher number of Concealed Carry License holders. If a criminal wants to conceal carry, they are not going to apply for a permit to do so. Why wait 3 months to get your license back before you can go BREAK THE LAW and rob the convenient store down the road?

Megan Dunbar is a 19 year-old-left-wing-moron from Greenville, South Carolina that has zero knowledge pertaining to firearms or self defense whatsoever
