Best athlete ever

Had a discussion yesterday about who is the better athlete: Lebron James or Bo Jackson. My buddy said Bo because he was a bonefide all star in two sports. I said Lebron because
1) I think he could be an an all pro in the NFL
2) I don't have to judge only on accomplishments
3) personally, I think he's the best in basketball ever.
Thoughts?

Jim Thorpe. This thread has been discussed before. Don't use the word "ever" or you have to look at athletes who lived before TV.
