Starfox 64 is one of the all time greats. Please play it if you haven't. That game amazed me back in the day coming from the snes. Now that is when gaming truly had "generations". Not this next get bullshite today.

Dogfights on the 64 version was a chess match of half loop inverts, full loops, boosts and barrels.

I always liked the SF64 level that completely rips off Independence Day.
I now have the game downloaded on the Wii, but the controls feel off on the classic controller.

SNES didn't blow my mind. It was a pretty good game at the time, but I remember even as a kid being aware that Nintendo was overselling how "revolutionary" the technology was. Never played the N64 version.

If you haven't played any of the three mentioned, then your childhood was a sham.

Damn, I just watched some game footage and Slippy is the absolute worst. How did that son of a bitch ever make it out of the academy?
Posted on 3/29/13 at 1:31 pm to Patrick O Rly
I always assumed Slippy was a chick since he couldnt fly for shite.

2 minutes into the game and you have to save his arse.

Slippy is just the Saints Reggie Bush. Decoy.
One day he'll be squad leader and do an admirable job.

I remember being obsessed with this game and when I finally got to rent it I stayed up most of the night. I just downloaded the rom and all I could think is "Do a barrel roll."
That got me into trouble. Some friend of mine was like "I have problems, and they seem to be coming from all sides."
"Do a Barrel Roll"
"What the frick is that supposed to mean?"
"Try a somersault."

Do you know that they completed a Starfox 2 for the SNES but didnt release it. You can download the rom and i think its better than the original IMO.
