Hawthorne said "Thank you, and good night," when Harry Barrios caught the last out in 1993.
Also in 1997, Bama beat LSU 2 of 3 in the regular season when LSU only needed one win for the sole conference title. In the SEC Tournament they split 1-1. So LSU had not lost 3 of 4 to them.

It's a tie, the one where Bama and Miami players were crying after getting dat arse beat.

Game 1 09 is my favorite game ever. 2000 is my favorite series ever.

Beating Bama in 97 was the best. Their fans never knew about baseball until then and we crushed their dreams.

1996
Warren Morris.
This shouldn't be debate.

The Miami game was the best finish ever but not the most fun as a game. Same with Stanford. Bama was just fun all around.

While every Championship won by the Tigers is special, The W. Morris home run is one of the most outstanding moments in LSU Sports history.

96 and Warren Morris. I can't believe that this is really a question.
This is really the only answer. 2000 was a better game, but Morris' dinger is just a great baseball moment. When you think of the CWS, you don't think of Cresse singling up the middle.

1996, not even close for me.

91 and 93 for me.
91 b/c we finally broke through. Hymel and Mouton were monsters throughout the year.
93 we had an amazing comeback against Long Beach in the CWS with Armando Rios bailing us out down a few runs in our last at bat.

Who was that infielder for Bama that was constantly mouthing off about how much better they were than us?

The 2009 CWS as a whole was fun for me to watch. Got to attend the LSU Virginia game and Ark Cal St Fullerton game. Was pretty young for the other Championships.
The Arkansas Virginia game was one of my favorite baseball games I've ever seen.
The LSU Texas series was all you could ask of it, comeback, shut out, domination.
Texas I think vs Arizona St went to the wire for a walk off.
And LSU Virginia had a comeback
