If Grohl did want Nirvana to keep going would the band work with Mudhoney's lead singer?

I think technically yes, but it wouldn't have a fraction of the cult following/status that it did with Cobain.

Nirvana without Kurt Cobain isn't Nirvana. The same way Sublime isn't sublime without Bradley Nowell. They did the right thing

Now I wish that had happened. Mark Arm would've been hysterical in Nirvana, mainly because he's probably the only person alive who wouldn't have taken it seriously at all.

We are talking about a guy who in the song "Sick of Your Shtik" asks the unnamed subject, "Why don't you blow your brains out, too?" Which was awesome.

I dont think it would have been his choice... Noveselic had more control than him.

If Cobain wouldnt have killed himself Grohl wouldve left eventually to make his arena rock...

Is there anybody other than Paul McCartney that has been in 2 bands of that magnitude like Dave Grohl?

No. See Blind Melon in 2008. Was cool to see live, but not the same without Shannon Hoon.

We wouldn't have Foo Fighters, which I think is a much better band than Nirvana

Nirvana was the leader of the grunge era, but at the end of the day Foo Fighters>>>>>>Nirvana. I am glad things played out the way they did. And no, I am not saying I am glad Cobain killed himself.

No. Most people don't know that Kurt Cobain all of Nirvana's music (lyrics and music) until their final album when he allowed Grohl to write the song "Marigold".
