I was just watching a YouTube video of an interview of his last week.

I think it might have been from last year: " Basketball - My Best Years Were Taken Away."

I still love the guy. In my mind, LSU basketball is forever waiting for the next Chris Jackson to arrive. In my lifetime, there has never been a single individual basketball player that I've been more excited to watch play from game to game.

Helluva shooter. Second only to the Pistol as LSU's best ever scorer. May have been better than Shaq while at LSU.

Awesome...I kept my copy. Run across it from time to time. Right under my Kevin Faulk running over the Gators issue.

When I saw this thread title I immediately pictured the cover. He could light it up with the best of them. I remember one game where they were playing Ole Miss and CJ and Gerald Glass were going back and forth. I think both of them scored around 50.

My fondest sports memories are spending time in the PMAC amazed at what that kid could do.

I recall getting together with friends to watch a pay per view event of him and Bo Kimble playing one on one. I think Bo won. I can't imagine two college players today being a similar draw.

He was awesome. Everyone remembers the scoring but I saw him make a half court bounce pass that was incredible.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

Too bad he fricked it all up and went into the Embarrassments of LSU folder.

Great, great player - maybe could have been the best college player ever if he hadn't left LSU early for the NBA. Screwed up in the NBA with his anti-American shenanigans. Sad story, but I don't feel sorry for him one bit - he made his bed, now he has to sleep in it.
