Duck breast in New Orleans

Do any of you know where I can find some duck breast in New Orleans? Whole Foods? Fresh Market? Rare Cuts?
In all honesty, I am trying to avoid Rare Cuts because I know they are very proud of their products/prices.

I got a whole Hudson Valley duck from Rare Cuts, I'm sure they can get it.

WF doesn't sell any?
I don't recall seeing it there. I actually think Fresh Market may have a more extensive selection.

I'd check Cleaver, great spot.

This, plus you could pick up some cracklin or jerky for the ride.

Better do it on the weekend for cracklin.

Rouses on Baronne has it fresh

This thread reminded me I picked up some "uncured duck hot dogs" from Specs in a drunk shopping spree this weekend. Should be interdasting.

Whole Foods and Fresh Market will carry the d'artagnan brand usually have a packaged breast sometimes leg confit. But it isn't the cheapest.

Had a ribeye from Cleaver that was worse than Rouses. It was so chewy I literally swallowed 3 or 4 bites. The rest I gave up chewing and fed to the dog.
Is this place a novelty act or do they get a good product?
I should add that their cracklins are excellent

Haven't had their beef. I assume it's primarily grass-fed, which I find lacking. You're the second person I've heard gripe about their ribeye.
Sausages and cracklins have been very good. Overpriced, but cheaper than driving to Scott. Also, they sell containers of leaf lard and duck fat... so they're good in my book.
Try different things and find those you like.

No fan of grassfed beef here.

I dunno. The one time I went I picked up a pork belly to make some more bacon. It wasn't near as good quality as other pork bellies I've worked with.
