Thanks
I find the camera crew thing interesting, I'm quite intrigued about who the Scranton Strangler is.

Just to clarify: it seems like this isn't the first time that the camera guy has interacted with Pam on a "friendly" level.

Eh. I didn't think it was like that but we'll see.
You've got to remember they have been filming this documentary for 7 years. They all have gotten to know the crew very well.

So, are we to assume Pam is going to leave Jim for that camera dude?
No

I guess I'm in the minority but I hated that shite at the end. Too much drama. Not why I watch the show. The best part about this episode was Toby.

Wonder how many people are going to try the milkshake grenade at the drive-thru tomorrow.
Fast good employees, be on alert.
And wow at that ending tonight.

I read somewhere earlier this week that as the final season goes on they will be dealing more with the fact that everyone has been followed around by a film crew all these years. Guess this was the start of that.

What an awesome ending.
FINALLY, we get some real honest-to-goodness conflict in that family.
With Jim'a arrogance and Pam's constant bad attitude, it seemed impossible to me that they never had bad fights.
That relationship was always kinda nauseatingly perfect.
In one scene, we bring all the realism back to the show...
The camera crew and the realization that these are real people who have formed relationships with the office workers over 9 years.
Also, we get to see how a mother raising an infant alone and a very stressed out father working in a different city would not have the perfect relationship.
The show had gotten to the point where there were really no consequences for any whacky thing they'd do.
It looks like those consequences are returning.
With Pam and Jim, maybe with the Erin love triangle.
In fact, we know that a cast member will be fired on Valentine's day.
It's good to see this show acknowledging that the end is near.

I'm loving this season.
My only complaint is how Dwight has gone off the deep end.
I realize they are showing how poorly he copes with change but its not realistic for Dwight to do a "fire in the hole" especially in a Dunder Mifflin truck.
I was on reddit last night and one person asked why the camera crew doesn't just give Pam footage of CCs dance recital.
Another poster said its probably because not everything is actually filmed by the crew and we actually see a lot of non-filmed footage on the show.

Dwight has been out of control for a while.
I wish they would use him more seriously, honestly.
They established that he's very anxious.
They should do something with that instead of making him a clown all the time.
Rainn Wilson is certainly capable of getting there.

The Windows 95 and dot matrix printer scene was pretty funny.

That would be a huge middle finger to the fans.

Barring Athlead going under, there's no good reason for Jim to not end up in Philadelphia full time. I feel like the story of Pam getting the opportunity to paint the mural was introduced because the writers wanted to make it look like there was some reason to stay in Scranton.
