So I was watching a little bit of sportscenter and a family member of someone that had been fooled by Tuiasosopo before tried to reach out to Te'o on twitter but he blocked her. Yeah sounds like a victim to me

Which? The wire fraud? That's federal. I'm not sure how this guy would be charged for the pictures. The girl sent him the picture. He didn't hack into her computer and steal it or anything.

The dumbest part of saying it affected him in the BCS is that a normal, sane person wouldn't use that excuse for a response to even the simplest question
When a player is asked 'did x,y,x affect you' normally it's 'no, we just didn't play our best' or '(insert team) was just better than us'
Must be lying if he went out of his way to use that as an excuse.
He had to have said that so later on down the road he can say he kept the lies up so he wouldn't distract his team

As of right now…there is no investigation. There won't be any investigation because no crime has been committed. At the very worst, Te'o got catfished and that's not illegal.

I'm really not. There isn't an ongoing criminal investigation. The lawyer looks bad no matter how you dice it. And for the last fricking time, these are Mike Florio's words I quoted. I'm not saying anything other than it looks bad which it does to any person with reasonable capacity.

Righhhtt. So your not devastated when your grandmother and love of your life die within 6 hours of each other 2 days before a game but finding out you were punked a month before championship game sends you into a downward spiral. This guy can't even lie when he has time to prepare.
