Who are among the most elite quarterbacks to play college ball these last 20 years? I'll get this party started with the greatest option QB to ever play the game:

Tommie Frazier - Nebraska

Tommie Frazier is a good one, no doubt. But this question begins and ends with Tim Tebow. I cannot convey how hard that is to type that out, knowing where my allegiances lie. But he is undoubtedly the best QB in College Football in recent memory. I remember watching Tommie Frazier, Vince Young, etc. play and none of them had the ability to single-handedly take over a football game on a consistent basis for a career the way Tebow did. Out of shear will, he made his team better just because he was on it.

In no certain order:
Vince Young
Tim Tebow
Cam Newton
M. Vick
Peyton Manning
Matt Leinhart
Danny Wuerffel (Most of the credit goes to Spurrie's offense)

Hasn't done much in the NFL, but Sam Bradford needs to be in the mix.

best career between tommie frazier and tim tebow (edge to frazier) with an honorable mentions for peyton manning. Matt Leinart, Danny Wuerffel, and Ken Dorsey were great college QBs but not as good as the other three IMO

best single year between cam newton, vince young, and michael vick. Those guys (and tebow) carried a team on their back to National Championship games.
