Anybody tried it? How is the pizza?

Not sure about the pizza, but their meatball marinara sandwich is below average.

Mama della and dolce vita are neck and neck for best pizza in br imo.

Its legit, some of best in town. I have found their cold sandwiches to be quite tasty as well

It is very good pizza. It's safe to say the restaurant has the Food Board's stamp of approval.

very good pizza, especially the white pizza.
Always get take out though, I will have to try to eat in next time to see how that compares.

I'll have to give them another shot. I went a few months back and I don't think they had either the temp or the convection right on the oven. The pizza was cooked perfectly on the top, but under done in the middle on the bottom. Definitely had good flavor though.

Anyone know what the difference between the Neopolitan and Sicilian style pizzas?

Sicilian is a thick crust pizza, it is a favorite of mine and mama dellas is legit.

I live near there and go eat in on occasion. The Italian man that I assume owns the place is super nice. And he makes a mean pizza too.
Try their garlic knots or whatever they're called. They brought us an order on the house one day while we were waiting and they were LEGIT.

I've eaten there a few times now and it's my favorite pizza in br, but it's a little disheartening that its been basically empty every time I've gone even around 7 on weekend nights

Seriously???? That was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life! If you can get pass the cup of grease in the mcenter of the pizza. You can't even pick up the pizza to you get to the crust. Terrible!!!! Would not recommend this place at all!

First, it's not greasy. Second, if you don't like Mama Della's, then you don't like pizza.

Probably the best pizza in BR, though I do appreciate Red Zepplin for what it is. As has already been stated, if you don't have a toaster oven you can pop your pizza in at home, eat there. The center will get a bit soggy if you travel with it, and I live very close by. This is assuming you are getting a Neopolitan. If you get a Sicilian, it will hold up better.
The first time I went, as I was walking up, I saw the old man harvesting basil from the plants outside. From that moment, I knew it was going to be legit

Not a pizza snob, but I've had it twice.
I think it's very good. The garlic is very potent
.
I ordered once and added italian sausage and it was pretty disappointing. It was tiny little pieces of italitan sausage, almost as if they shaved it off a link. The entire pizza may have had an ounce of suasage on it total. I dont know if that's how they do it in NY or what, but I would stay away from adding it to a pizza. You almost cant tell it's even there.
The old guy is nice and very informative, you can tell he really cares about his work.
