Over the last 15 years, I would say surprise has gone out the window, as far as finding out that an injured superstar used PED's to help in their recovery and ability to get back on the field quicker. Is Adrian Peterson the latest of these athletes to be tempted by shortened recovery time from a once career ending injury?

Unless Peterson has been using since high school, I would say no, he has always been a freak of nature.

If he did, it was the right decision. Great decision if true.

Is there a chance? Yes. NFL still does not have a test for HGH.

sure there is totally a chance.

I'm pretty damn certain Dwayne Wade got on them to battle his injuries with how his face has expanded over the years.

Its not like its difficult for these guys to fine people who can give them drugs you cant test for.

James Andrews said he'd never seen anything like the muscle in his knee when he cut AP open... Take it for what it's worth

And he's performed surgery on numerous steroid users

Return to sport for ACL reconstruction can be anywhere from 6-12 months.

AP is a world class athlete with a world class rehab team and a world class surgeon. His come back does not surprise me at all.

I'm more impressed that he hasn't seemed to have even a bit or hesitancy or mental lapses.

Yes there is a chance. Honestly, if he did and they worked that well then they should be encouraged to speed up injury recovery.
