Notre Dame will benefit the most from the way the staff organized the practices. They used most of the allotted practices early on and it allows the team to peak at just the right moment. They had the week off and won't practice again until the 2nd. Bama hasn't even installed their game plan yet, they worked on fundamentals before the Xmas break.

They will need any advantage they can get.

Yeah because ND knows more than Bama about how to prepare for national championships

Yea, Alabama totally doesn't know what they're doing in preparation for this game. Not like this is the third time they will play in it in the last 4 years.

No need, it won't look any different than what they've done the last 13 games.

Does this mean ND installed the game plan first and will work on fundamentals last? Maybe it means they aren't planning on focusing on fundamentals at all?

This won't be pretty.

So a staff that has coached in the last 3 out of 4 BCSCGs doesn't know how to organize practices?

How does using most of the alloted practices early on help you peak on Jan 7th?

I know. Alabama's plan sure hasn't worked in the past. Is Notre Dame's practice schedule different than it has been for their other BCS title games?

Bama has been game planning for this game for about 3-4 years. Building depth, talent, and strength. Our gameplan will be to line up and smack you in the mouth and see if you can stop us offensively. Since you don't have a complicated offense, the defensive gameplan won't be very complicated. We will just do what we normally do. Get in the right scheme depending on the play, disguise our blitzes, and dominate the line to stop the run and force the pass.

ETA- oh and Saban has been doing this a long time. He stated numerous times that he's found that this is best way for him to prepare his players for a bowl game.

Yes we know, Saban has done it 4 times now. Notre Dame is going to get the frick beat out of them. ND barely beat a USC team that is now 7-5, lost to Stanford and got the call and will get throttled by the Tide. I bet we win by 4 TD's.

BKs last BCS Bowl game preparation worked out well. Lost to Beamer ball by 13 as a field goal favorite.
