How is this local Louisiana product? Louisiana Lightening I have a bottle I picked up last year when I was back home, but it is being used as a display in my LSU mancave/bar and has not been opened.

Yesterday I had the Angel's Envy Caribbean Cask -- any thoughts on that? I thought it was almost like drinking melted caramel.

I feel like I've asked you baws before, but any suggestioms on a good sipping rye? My friend is on the hunt for one. Right now she drinks Bulleit Rye, but there has to be something better. She had Wild Turkey last night and basically said it's Manhattan juice for her.

Here is the list of bourbons and whiskeys available in the state of Virginia, which the ABC stores are owned and operated by the state itself... Bourbon

whiskey BTW, I bought the last 3 1.75 bottles of Old Charter in the state of Virginia a few months back, because they stopped carrying it. Sad day for me and my Coca-Cola.

Is that the rye? If so, I fricking LOVE it. One of my favorite pours.

The Louisiana Lightning is made by a buddy of mine's from college family out of Amite. It's a very young whiskey. I wasn't a big fan of it.

My favorite Rye is Handy. But as far as a Rye you can find I would say Willett Family Rye is pretty good. Old Scout that I just bought is very close

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban after a wonderful meal of grilled bourbon mustard glazed wild sockeye, grilled asparagus, pressed peppered watermelon w/olive oil, and to top it off honey drizzled grilled Ruston peaches w/homemade ricotta cheese. Cheers!

Tried this yesterday. Pretty good. A little spicy, but the flavor is there
