I was walking along bank on one of the ponds behind Fourchon beach and I flushed a flounder which beached himself and I picked him up does that count?

when i was in college we had this neat little contraption that fit in a skoal can that you hooked up to a battery. made the catfish float to the top and lay on thier sides, some even swam up on the bank, you could pick and choose the ones you wanted.
whats the statute of limitations on something like this anyway??

I have, this one:
The diet coke bottel is there for comparison. I saw him swimming in shallow water and jumped in and tossed him on the bank.

First fish I ever caught was with my bare hands.
I was 2, maybe 3. We were fishing perch at the boat launch by my parrian's shop.
I was looking and saw one swimming close and I snuk up on it and just snagged em!
I still remember the look on my dad's face
I also caught a monster perch from Vortex Springs in Florida on my checkout dive. I just kinda crept up and grabbed him. Everyone tried but failed... not this guy. I threw him up on the dock and everyone cheered

While in Cancun on senior trip, I was puking off the side of the boat from the tequilla slammers the night before when a 125 lb. sailfish rose up and started swimming with the boat. I called a buddy over to help me grab him, figuring it was half dead or sick. I grabbed the bill and my buddy grabbed the tail. As soon as he grabbed the tail, that fricker started trashing about! Ended up slicing my hands while bringing him in the boat. We took pics and released him back, and he swam away like nothing was wrong.

Hummingbirds are protected under the migratory bird act, I don't think I'd ever talk about catching one. Now they are pretty bold suckers and they have landed on both myself and my camera in the past.
One of my friends is a big wildlife nut and can catch all manner of fish, reptiles and amphibians while walking along a creek bed. He's even done it with 10k worth of camera equipment balanced on one shoulder.

I have a collection permit. I was checking the health of a couple which I thought showed signs of disease. They were fine. I released them.

I was around 10 years old when I lived in Scotland... I had watched a special on "tickling" trout which is a method they used to catch trout bare handed. Fast forward a few months and we took a school field trip to this adventure place. We were doing some "search and rescue" game in the woods, and we broke up into groups. I was with a student teacher and one of my other classmates when I spotted a brook trout swim upstream and then underneath the bank (there's an overhang where the water passes through). I walked over and gently stuck my hand under the bank and to my surprise he was there. I "tickled" his belly with my fingers gently and he rested right in my palm. Pulled him up and showed the girls before putting him back in.

I too have done this with a rainbow trout, but i think something was wrong with it because it put up little to no resistance until it got out of the water.

It's easy salmon fishing in shallow streams. You can damn near walk across the surface without getting your feet wet. Fish wall to wall.

I have. It was dying of old age. And I'm not even gonna say what it was because you'll call me a liar.

I barehanded a salmon in Ketchikan, Alaska in 2010. Right off the dock, saw a few swimming together and just reached in and grabbed him. Will post picture sometime,

I caught a flying fish with my foot.
Well, he landed on my foot, but I'm counting it.
