My favorite is probably Championship Football from Dana X. Bible from 1947. It's amazing how much the game has changed but the book still has some great ideas. I've also enjoyed Tony Dungy's and Brian Belichick's books. Any thing else I should be on the look out for?

Hooligans.

It documents the rise of hooliganism in England during the seventies, and the gangs involved.

Dude writing the book wrote it from a Gonzo perspective, even joining in the malays.

I'll go with the painfully obvious answer, Moneyball.

It's not the "best" I've read, but Bootlegger's Boy by Barry Switzer is actually a good book.
