I know we have beat this in the ground but lets just say that you have a nephew that plays, would you wear his jersey?
Been a while since I been to a game, do they sell beer outside during tailgating or should I just bum from our great fans or can you bring a small throw away cooler.

Why not?
Everyone at Saints games wears jerseys.

This is true but I look at game photos and I may have counted 6 people in the stands with jerseys on, does not seem to be a cool thing at LSU games.

I think it is totally appropriate.

No. I try not to judge other people wearing them, but I'm in the "grown men shouldn't wear college jersey" camp.
No alcohol sales outside the stadium. Bring the cooler.

Typicaly, my answer would be no. But, if it were my nephew, you're damn right I would wear it!
And, def bring a styrofoam cooler.

I think you get a pass to wear a jersey if you have kin on the team.

This is hard drug induced mania that anyone would even question if someone should wear a jersey to college game or even around town as in N.O. even in offseason everyone wears Saints jersey. Insanity! Wear it!

If I were younger and my uncle was playing, definitely yes. Nephew...probably not.

My sister's inlaws used to have a hook-up for corporate tickets that were located in the section in which the players' families sit. I can remember, for example, sitting directly behind T-Bob Hebert's mother and younger siblings at the 2007 LSU-Florida game. Darry Beckwith's people represented - typically 8 to 10 of them ALL with "Beckwith" jerseys on - I called them "Team Beckwith". It is very common in that section for family and friends to wear their player's jersey, customized with the name on it.
I think it is awesome support and I would gladly wear a son, nephew, cousin, whatever, jersey to support him at the game.

If he is family, I think it is acceptable way to show support.
That being said, good luck.

Who gives a shite what people think? Do you.

The only time I ever wore a jersey was when my cousin played for LSU in the 90s. Haven't worn one since and probably never will again, but you gotta show that family pride.

I always look on jerseys as things that mostly moms of the players should wear.
Now, if you are the aunt of the player, I think wearing his jersey would be fine as long as mom doesn't think you're trying to horn in on her thing. Uncle on the other hand, I don't think I'd do it personally but wouldn't look down on anyone for doing it.

Wear whatever the frick you want to wear. If anyone gives you shite, just laugh at them, because they are more insecure about themselves, that's why they choose to talk about what other men wear. And byob.
