Cheddars

Not to hijack the thread, but yea, who puts Bonefish Grill in the same category as those others?

As for the OP, I've heard decent things about Cheddar's. It is what it is obviously, but most seem to like it better than Chili's, Applebees (what isn't better than Applebees?), etc.

Avoid it

Lot of food for the price. The New Orleans Pasta is pretty good, burgers aren't bad. Chick fried steak has too much breading. Chicken strips seem infused with water. Potato soup is better than the tortilia soup. We (small office) use to go a good bit but we got tired of it. Some items are really good some not so much. I like the New Orleans Pasta and also order the triple app as an entree. Avoid the red beans as a side.

literally the worst food I've ever had at a restaurant. everything frozen or out of a can. i'd rather eat Taco Bell. and for me, that's saying something.

DO NOT go to the one in west monroe....worse restaurant ive ever been to....cant keep manager food sucks (ordered side of red beans and rice...got a quarter size amount of rice with absolutly no seasoning on beans...waitress said beans had just finished cooking so seasoning hadnt soaked in yet...ordered club sandwich which fell apart...told waitress to take it back and remove it off my ticket...she brought another instead..told her i didnt want it...she tossed sandwich and plate in trash..all this after 45 minute wait for drinks. I would have walked out but it was for nieces birthday

I ate at the new Cheddars in Lafayette and was not impressed
