Nick Saban changed his offensively philosophy after 9-6 game.

Our o-line was just as bad, if not worse, in 2009. It was the reason we had the 112th ranked offense that year.

True. I was trying to compare this year to last year though. Probably should rephrase that.

You'd think this was obvious. Our line is hurt, and Mett is a statue, yet we keep trying to pound it up the middle without much deception, and take 5-7 step drops. I saw a few more screens and quick throws yesterday, so I guess there's a little hope. It's doubtful that we'll see any sort of significant change though.

Why would we not blame Miles for the offense? He's the damn head coach. He gets credit when things go right, so why shouldn't he be blamed when things go wrong?

Miles is the one making millions per year to produce a successful team. Do you think LSU got $300k worth of coaching out of Miles yesterday?

I'll answer. Recent offensive rankings -

2008 - 55th
2009 - 112th
2010 - 86th
2011 - 86th
2012 (through 10/6, after playing Towson, NT, and Idaho) - 76th

OP: respond to this.

Actually we're ranked 67th in total offense (not 76th.) Bama is ranked 60th...and #1 in the polls.. The most important stat is average scoring margin. I couldn't care less about how many yards we put up per game. But whatever, go cheer for one of the top ten ranked offensive teams...oh wait, none of them have played in a MNC in the last 20 years...probably never, but hey, they gain a lot of yards. Nevada rocks! By the way, Florida State is ranked 15th...how's that working for them? I bet they wished they'd won the scoring margin last night instead of putting up more yards.

Go check the top 10 in average scoring margin and it absolutely correlates to arguably the 10 best teams in college football.

Is currently ranked 60th...we're 67th. I assure his offensive philosophy isn't much different than Miles' offense. The difference is execution in critical situations.

Wanna make a ban bet we don't finish 2012 in top 90 of total offense?

Edit: just rant and scoreboard, don't care if you post your grandmas chili recipe on food board

Scoring margin is an irrelevant metric of true offensive production when you've played Towson, North Texas, and Idaho.

Our scoring margin in our last 3 SEC games?

-27.

sorry but 6 points and 12 points in 2 sec road games isn't good enough.

also ppg is skewed due to schedule because of the likes of north texas and other factors such as field position and such.

the stats from yesterday tell of a subpar return game thanks to odell and a subpar o thanks to miles and stud

So frustrating...

5 straight years of our sucky players not executing our genius coach's offense!

Some day, some day we'll get some talented players at LSU that can execute our offense.

Stop blaming Miles for the offense!

Why? He hired a great OC who got sick. What did he do? He promotes an OL Coach with a count hair of experience calling plays. On top of that he's a stubborn motherfricker that won't open up the playbook because he handcuffs everyone calling plays.

frick Les Miles. I'm done with him.
