Restaurant in Downtown Nola for Bachelor Party?

I have a bachelor party this Friday and am hoping to get some good ideas for a place to start off the night. I'd like to go to a fairly casual place that we wont feel out of place having drinks and having fun, but also decent food.
At the moment, we are set for Domenica, but would welcome some suggestions for places with similar atmosphere.
TIA

Rock-n-Sake is in the warehouse district if that matters to the OP.
It is def. a fun and loud place. Usually alot of women in the place.
Palace Cafe might work too.

Got really loud and drunk at nola for a bachelor party last year. Good times.

Back patio at Sylvain. Tell them you want the whole section if possible. That way y'all can be loud as frick, and still eat like kings.

WHD is no prob, but RocknSake sounds more like a place for a bachelorette party. Looking for something where a bunch of dudes can get their drink on, preferably no loud dance music.
How is the atmosphere at Cochon? Pretty laid back? I've always wanted to try it but Haven't had an opportunity. Palace cafe sounds decent as well

We went to Rambla to start out the night for my bro-in-law's bachelor party. I thought it was great for what it was...a tapas-style restaurant and open bar for about $100/person, I believe. I enjoyed it.

Agreed, not a place I would want to go for a bachelor party.

Dear god, no
Borgne, Cochon, and Sylvain are good recs. Maybe Napoleon House, Cafe Giovanni, or Bourbon House. The tasting menu at La Boca would be great since you have a decent size crowd.

Rambla closed in July.

Dickie Brennan's. Get one of the rooms off the main dining room.
Or, if you can leave the quarter, the back room at Crescent City Steakhouse.
Palace cafe also has a great room upstairs, i think on the 3rd floor.

It isn't downtown, but close. I would recommend The Irish House. Good grub and good drink.
