Worst high school officiating game or call you ever saw.

After hearing the broadcast of the Ocean Springs Pascagouls foorball game tonight where the announcers finally just said "we have to just say this this is blatent home cooking and some of the worst officiating ever seen in years and used terms like fiasco, clueless, "fans are mocking the officials"... I would like to say more but this is a Christian radio station...everybody in the stadium saw that clip, including the blind guy helping with the tape, etc etc where they picked up multiple flags against goula, didnt start the clock multiple times, the usual bullshite they did when I played. I thought that this had gotten better, but maybe not.
So what is the worst call or game you have actually seen. Please name names of the corrupt guys if you know them, address maybe too. I cant count tonight as I didnt actually see it.
So i will go with 1981 Ocean Springs vs Moss Point, Moss Point was number one in state and score was o-o going into the fourth quarter. It was their homecoming and crowd was getting anxious. Moss Point punted and the gunner creamed the returner (No halo rule back then just couldnt hit before the ball caught then) The returner was on the ground tackled then the ball hit him. He could not catch it as he was on the ground tackled. It hit his back and Moss point recovered and went on the win 14-0. The ref was two feet away the whole time. The OS crowd and parents came unglued several tried to come on the field. (The punt returner was hurt.)Parents were calling for coach to pull the team off the field, etc. We knew they would never let us win and it was over. I saw the play 30 times in the film room. (In a karma twist I just remembered I caused a fumble by nailing their returner with the ball the next year for the game winning drive with four minutes left)
That is the most blatent I have ever seen, still talked about in Ocean Springs by people that were there when these topic comes up...so what do you have.

I don't know about the worst call but the best call by an official was when the mods moved this to the More Sports Board from the Rant

Any game with Alexandria officials. They are terrible and if the team is not from Rapides Parish get ready for a fricking because it is coming.

If you play against Covington or St. Paul at their place and they have Nola officials, you better bring a truckload of Vaseline. Some of the worst I've ever seen and it's been going on for years

Moss Point, Pascagoula, and Gautier are known for their home cooking. Moss Point and Gautier are just straight trash. Last year against Gautier, my senior year, one of their players stomped on our rb's throat with his cleat after a play and a huge fight erupted. Both benches cleared in the fight, multiple cops had to go on the field and break it up, and it was just a big mess. 3/4 of our team was suspended for the next game.

What the frick does that even mean? Why would their gunner have the ball?

when eli was at newman their endzones was checkered like the tenn vols. the patteren must stop 1 yard from the goal line so there is a void all the way around the endzone.
in a playoff game eli threw a td pass that was called out of bounds because the wr's foot came down outside the checkered pattern in the void, but he was CLEARLY in. cost them at trip to the dome

Seems like everytime West Monroe gets officals from south Louisiana in the playoffs there is a anti-WM bias. JJ27?

I saw an official throw a flag for a fumble last night then wave it off.

happens all the time when they grab their flag instead of bean bag to mark fumble...

Glad someone else picked up on that bit of comedy.
He should edit his post and change "just remembered" to "just made it up".

While some questioned whether Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville got a call or two (or three) in the final plays of its victory over West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer on Labor Day weekend
This was a horribly officiated game. Jack Nicklaus's grandson Nick O'Leary was suspended one game for flicking off the refs or the other team during the game. I think it was the Herbstreit game where he was trying to lure O'Leary to Ohio State. That WM v Barbe games sounds worse though.

Not high school, but in 2001 (I think) Vandy scored a TD against AU on a pass that went right through the receiver's hands to the turf. I guess the refs were just checking to see if his feet were in bounds, but forgot to make sure he caught it.

Actually I had the recovery too but realized I was fighting a team mate Mike Farrell for the ball, and let him have it. (LOL)
