It's almost certainly that the Night's King is a Stark

Yeah. They better not make Old Nan into an unreliable narrator.

Well if she was lying then what's the point of even telling us any of that? So it's got to mean something

I know that the Nights King was most likely a Stark (who was defeated by the King of Winter, Brandon the Breaker).
But the crackpot theory is that all of the Others are really dead Starks. That can't be the case since Bran the Builder (the first Stark), built the Wall at the end of the Long Night (and thus after the Others first attacked Westeros).

So is it a pretty common theory that Jon Snow is actually the son of RHAEGAR TARGARYEN AND LYANNA STARK?
And Jon Snow will have an ice Dragon?

Is the most disappointing thing about the show the lack of Riverlands arc, the Iron Islands or Coldhands not being in the show?
The story in general is moving North (as the war heads South,if that makes sense)again, yet all the juicy details are being left out.

None of these being left out really bother me. As I said in another thread earlier, the one thing I really miss is the Great Northern Conspiracy (or Grand Northern Conspiracy as it is sometimes called) and Frey Pie.
I was really hoping those would be an integral part of the story in the North.

Yeah, that's kind of the biggest theory of ASOIAF. The one question that GRRM asked D&D before he let them make the show was "Who is Jon Snow's mother". And this season D&D basically confirmed the theory with the episode where they dropped 3 or 4 obvious hints to it.

That is more of a crackpot theory. There is a theory that the hot springs that run under Winterfell that keeps it warm in winter is actually a dragon, but I personally don't believe that. I guess Jon could be the "ice dragon", but I'm pretty sure that Jon is the song of ice and fire.

Well I lumped in the Freys with the Riverland stuff.
It seems to me that what the show built interests in initially-The North is completely ignored to the point of being detrimental to the show.
I feel like the networks desire to wrap up the show in two seasons is largely to blame.

Which episode did they drop the hints in?
I need to go back and watch that one again.

Don't remember the name/number of the episode(s), but iirc it's the scenes with Jon Snow riding the elevator with Melisandre, Sansa in the Winterfell crypt with Littlefinger, Stannis talking to his wife about Jon Snow being Ned's bastard, and maybe a couple more scenes.

I can't wait to see Bran again. He's going to be big time.
The Children told him he'll be able to fly. So maybe he can control the dragons? But he was brought to The Children so he could save the worldwide, and the dragons are a long way away. So maybe Jon gets an ice dragon or whatever and Bran can morg it and save the day?

I think you mean warging,
It's certainly set up for Bran to be basically a god, but surely he'll face some threat.
Personally, I hope Dany is going mad like her father as evident by all of her crazy arse decisions and lust for power.
Maybe Bran(as a dragon) or Jon kills her.

I thought that was universally known, but this

It was the Sons of Harpy episode.
Stannis' wife called Jon a bastard by some tavern slut, to which Stannis replied maybe but that wasn't Ned's way. Then there was LF's description of the events at the the Tournament at Haarenhall and the look on LF's face when Sansa says that Rhaegar kidnapped and raped Leanna. And then Barristan's description of Rhaegar to Dany. Also, Melisandre was really trying to get into Jon's pants when she usually only cares about king's blood (although that one is a little more of a stretch).

Here you go: ice dragon

No it has way more to do with logistics
GRRM can write about 100 characters in excruciating detail for 5 books and the time period is only changed in the books over 3 or 4 years.
The show has 10 episode seasons where they need interesting things to happen each season so the pace is faster and the POV is the same for all the events. People age, leave the show, there's budgets etc etc. it's just not feasible to put in every detail from the books into the show

Can't remember what site I saw it on, but I heard that rumor. I don't read the books (yet), but I heard apparently there were two more eggs left? One in someone's hands, and another they don't know where it is at.
How I want the show to finally end after many more seasons:
I hope Jon Snow leads and army of wildlings with a dragon. Then, he takes control of Westeros, and the final battle comes down to Jon Snow and his dragon and army vs Daenerys and her dragons and army for the iron throne.

How is it that all of the characters in the show keep getting older, but Craster's son has been a baby for like 3 seasons? Shouldn't it at least be a toddler by now?
