You and me both. And looking at the comments under that article he is the one name mentioned by the overwhelming majority of people commenting.
The optimist in me would like to think that maybe the reason GRRM didn't include him in his list is that he might still make an appearance. But if that ship hasn't sailed, it must be pretty dang close to doing so.

IMDB has him listed for this upcoming episode, so hopefully we'll find out Sunday.
But I very seriously doubt he is fAegon.

I've just thought that fAegon shows up because of the casting.
As far as Varys goes I could never pretend to know what he's doing
After Tyrion got kidnapped why didn't he continue on to Dany since that's where he was going? Did he tip off Jorah to have Tyrion kidnapped on purpose so he himself didn't have to be in reach of Dany?
Seriously though, I don't want fAegon in the story I just feel like it's something they'd do. Another spoke in the wheel

Does the 3rd rider have to be a Targ, or have Targ blood? What if Bran can warg a dragon, couldn't anyone ride it if he's controlling it?
What if there is a dragon under WF or inside the Wall? Who gets to ride those frickers?
I hate not knowing anything!

There won't be three riders, because Dany will never make it to Westeros with all three dragons.

I didnt think all the dragon riders in the princess and the queen had Targaryen blood. Some old Valyrian blood perhaps but it was pretty clear one didn't have to be a Targaryen to ride a dragon, but it helps.
