I think part of Jamie's redemption arc is showing how it's hard for him to get past Cercei. When he gets back to KL he bangs Cercei and tried to talk her into going public and getting married. So I think Cercei is his tragic downfall
I disagree. He burnt Cersei's letter without a second's thought really. I think he now realizes what she is and doesn't love her anymore (at least in not a lover way).
Plus I'm sure that once Cersei finds out about Kevin and Pycelle's death, the only people who had any real emotional authority over her, she's sending a dozen free riders after them, and I think Brienne will be killed by them. Top it off with trying to burn King's Landing to the ground and poisoning Tommen (I definitely think that scene in "Blackwater" was foreshadowing on what Cersei is going to do), and I don't think that Jaime is going to have much of a desire to be with her anymore and will truly seek to kill her.

I'd be pissed if either of them took down Cersei. It has to be Jaime.
I think it will be Arya, disguised as either Jamie or Tyrion.

I think it has to be Jaime too. That's the only way I'll be satisfied with Cersei's death. Arya would be okay, but a huge letdown. And Tyrion, way too obvious. Jaime killing Cersei would be the best death scene in the whole series.
Exactly, except I think when Cersei finds out they have feelings for each other and/or have had sex that she's going to go even more batshit crazy than she already is and have Brienne killed. It would definitely be an interesting twist on the "fairer queen" taking her down in the Valonqar prophecy/a bit ironic.

Has anyone here been with the series since the beginning in 96?

hmm. I think there are some rather large leaps of fantasy in there, but what else can we do to occupy our time waiting...
The repetition of numbers to me is very similar to GRRM's repetition of phrases/epithets--which is very much in keeping with the epic poetry conceit- think The Iliad. Since these were "sung" stories, they needed catch phrases to give the singers a moment to catch up and a touchstone to keep the listeners on solid footing.
While I think the Night's King and the Last Hero could be the same, the rest just seems to try too hard,
I do think that Coldhands could be Night's King.
I also think the Sentinels will come into play at some point. They have a debt to pay if I recall.

No more posts in here about Sophie turning 18?? I'm shocked.

There was a Brooklyn Decker vs Stacey Keibler thread on the OT today, so I imagine he had his hand full.

Crackpot theory: Ser Ilyn did not get his tongue removed for saying that Lord Tywin ran the Seven Kingdoms. Ser Ilyn discovered that Jaime and Cersei were actually Aerys bastard children. It would look much too suspicious if Aerys were to just kill him, so he said taking out his tongue was for saying that Lord Tywin ruled the Seven Kingdoms, despite the fact he had probably heard it a few times before from other men.
Ilyn seemed to get a kick out of Jaime telling him he was screwing his sister, and it was his own inside joke that he lost his tongue for. I think in the next novel Ilyn will find a way to tell Jaime of his true ancestry when he escapes Stoneheart. Ser Ilyn has served little purpose in the story, and I do think he'll serve a major role. I think I'm sold on Jaime and Cersei being Aerys' bastards. Jaime will find out about 1/3 of the way into WoW, and Cersei won't find out until seconds before her death when she is killed by Jaime, who already being a kinslayer, won't give a frick. In ADOS, Jaime will be revealed to be the third head of the dragon and one of the major saviors of Westeros, although he'll lose his life in the battle with them.
Plus the delicious irony on Tywin's grave that his only true born child was the mutilated dwarf he abused would be great.

Damn it, I tired of those theories, as well as the A+L=J ones or N+L=J or B+L=J

He did chop off Ned Starks head.
But I do believe it's very possible that Jamie and Cercei are Aerys bastards. And I hope it's true. That irony would dance on Tywin's grave forever
