Listening to the announcers last night, they said 15 or so NFL teams were scouting the game to pick up help for their own teams and mentioned the RBs.

Banyard, Joe RB 5-11 213 23 R
Cadet , Travaris RB 6-1 210 23 R
Ingram, Mark RB 5-9 215 22 2
Ivory, Chris RB 6-0 222 24 3
Sproles, Darren RB 5-6 190 29 8
Thomas, Pierre RB 5-11 215 27 6

I cannot see letting Cadet go but do we have room for him? Banyard wont make it.

Ivory gets released. Cadet on PS

PT, Ingram, and Sproles are a legit three headed monster of terror, death, mayhem, destruction, etc

If Ivory doesn't get his shite together before the end of preseason, he is gone and Cadet stays.

PT, Sproles and Ingram are locks.
I thinks it's to early to tell on Cadet, but if the coaching staff likes him, Ivory may become trade bait.

If Ivory doesn't make it through the preseason healthy and Cadet does, how can you cut Cadet? However I watch to see both of them running behind 1st team o-line. Ivory was getting hit in the backfield a lot.

Cadet & Ivory had a rough go running the ball last night.

Cadet made some plays catching the ball but we already have PT & Sproles who can do that really well.

It is still too early too tell. The back ups on the O-line didn't have a good night blocking in the run game. You have to cut Ivory & Cadet some slack here in my opinion. Still four more preseason games left

I'm not letting the hof game change my mind about our rbs. Ivory is still our most explosive back (besides sproles obviously) and pt is still our best all around back and I believe Ingram will show that he is a beast as well. Everyone saying ivory is even close to gone is out of their mind IMO

It was only one preseason game. I still keep Ivory over Cadet. Now if this is a recurring theme through all of preseason, especially the 3rd and 4th games, I might lean to changing my mind and flipping them. Ivory has NFL experience and is a bowling ball we need.

1. Darren Sproles
2. Pierre Thomas
3. Mark Ingram (I expect to see him get more carries)

Ivory will be released (perhaps traded) and Cadet to PS, as others have said.

I don't think one game wonder Cadet is going to supplant Ivory, at least not yet.... now, if Ivory continues to put the ball on the turf in practice, as has been the daily practice report, then yeah, i could see it....

but let's not just toss aside what Ivory has done for this club to this point.... Cadet, IMO, still has a ways to go before he earns a roster spot, and i don't think there a snowball's chance in hell he'll clear waivers to be put on the practice squad.... just hope he doesn't land in the NFC South, because he's just talented enough to be a real pain in our side for years to come if so....

Damn. One bad preseason and everyone wants Ivory gone? Dude's been a beast when he's on the field. I like Ivory.
