Also there from '91-'95...

The teams sucked but we had a great time in the stands regardless. Never left early. Tickets and access to parking were much easier to come by. Cops didn't hassle too many people - probably because they wanted as many people to show up as possible. The top of the student section was our domain!

Winning big games seemed like a monumental feat (Bama in '93, Auburn '95) and losing came with a lot less heartache. Relieved when I read in the Reveille that Hallman was sexing a cheerleader or two. He was teh biggest moron to walk the sidelines LSU will EVER have...

I was there 2001-2005 so I enjoyed 2 SEC Titles, 2 BCS wins, and a National Title so I doubt I would trade even though last year's team and this year's team are better than any other LSU team that I can remember. It's a great time to be a Tiger.

My years were 81 - 84. Up and down years, but left an indelible mark on my Tiger Soul.

The years you speak of were great for buying season tickets. I've been a season ticket holder now since 1992!

Climax, slow down man. I'm hoping we haven't reached the climax yet, otherwise it is downhill.

'05-'09...wouldn't trade.

Saw several 'heart attack' type games, attended pretty much every major game, road or away.

Great times.

My freshman year was fall of '03, and I stayed until 2009 as a MS student.

Saw two National Champions, CWS Champion, and final four runs. However, I'll trade you the 2008 football season for last year.

Ive been a Tiger fan my whole life and I'll be a freshman this year at LSU so I'm excited to finally be able to experience these games up close and personal.

98-02....End of Dinardo, beginning of Saban.

Wouldn't trade it. Had a blast. Beating TN in the SEC CG with Mauck as back up QB will forever go down as one of my favorite games to attend as a student.

For me, I go back to Mac. Mac was good. Stovall was so-so. Arnsparger was good. Archer and Hallman were not. DiNardo started with little and sort of got things rolling but couldn't get to the next level. Saban took up where DiNardo left off and got to the next level. Miles has done a "damned strong" job in spite of himself at times. However, there have been peaks and valleys as there will be in all programs. Overall, I still enjoy it as I have now since 1967.

01-06. No way would I trade.
only thing i regret is not taking a few more "W"s and getting in the 2007 season as a student. But not worth missing the Illinois Sugar bowl to bump back a year.

Same here. Went through the abysmal 98 and 99 seasons.

Couldn't believe it when we won the SEC in 2001 and beat Illinios in the Sugar Bowl.

Wouldn't trade those years for anything.

U want to talk low AD's, I was at school when Joe Dean played BB. Should have stayed with the sport. He was the genius that turned down Spurrier as a head football coach! So he went to Fla. & the rest is history.
