I can see it now fans in the stands looking at each other saying, 'have not seen a throw like that in a while'.

This was happening in warm ups last year.

I am aware we ran the football, if I also recall JJ did not have a passing TD since Alabama.
It was 35 rush/ 21 pass TDs.
And 5 passing TDs from Bama on, along with the top 3 total O performances, and top QB RAT for a game with 8/8, 1 TD, 0 INT.

Lets not go there and just be happy its over and Mett is in control. I think we all can agree Mett is a better Qb.

I wasn't trying to "go there", just clear up misconceptions,...and I sure hope Mett is a better QB, but really can't agree to the fact until after Nov 3rd.
All I have is CLM's word "I thought we had two quality quarterbacks before, but there is a little more juice on the ball now. Our ability to throw the football is a little better."

Agree, lets see how he plays after a few shots to the chin. With our depth, they'll be coming for his knees....We still have to play AU, this year...

thank god we have the Oline that we have. It's going to be a special year.

Please explain

Please don't... Just GFY... JJ was given every opportunity to succeed. If ZM's ability is there to read the defense then this will be a special year. JJ never could... BTW the coaches don't line up behind center...

He should have played more last year. A year of eligibility was wasted.

I am purely going off his CC high lights, and imo fundamentally he is the best since Flynn.

it's not like there is a whole lot of competition in that time frame since Flynn.

Anyone going to be there live for the air-it-out session? Feedback would be great

And another case of the rantards will be tards. Another thread about Mett that has somehow turned into a JJ thread.

Yep. Doesn't matter who we had on the roster. JJ was the starter in the mind of CLM. God given right.

You're implying there was something to screw up.

Who are "they"? It wasnt the Tiger coaches....you have to have some amount of natural ability before it can be "screwed" up!

Please put Mett on a "house arrest" before the season starts so he won't grab another one or kick butts at Shady's.

Yea if we look at the last few games that jj started it was not very pretty.we did not have a first down in the first half against GA and against Arkansas if it was for special teams and def we were down by 10 in the first half.If you look at the off output after lee it was bad except for the couple of easy teams we played.

the team was never the same once 9 suited up again, he was a virus the ark, ga, and bama2 games were the worst qb'd games I have ever seen. I can't wait to hear what he had on CLM. He's gone thank god and we have a pure qb to look forward to watching. JJ good luck in the REAL world.
