I can only hope to one day have this much audacity. Why even make these comparisons? To piss off the masses, I suppose. I'm not going to discount what LeBron did this year, he played incredibly and is arguably the best player in the NBA, but is he the killer that Jordan was? People should save their comparisons till after LeBron finally hangs it up, or at least until he wins his first three-peat. I say we see how his next five full seasons go before we start the debate. After all, once Jordan won his first he won his next five (when he played the entire year) and I have no doubt he would have won 8 in a row if he didn't go off to play baseball for two years like a f*cking idiot. (Sorry, I'm still a little tore up over his first retirement.)

Enjoy.

No LeBron fan on here over the age of 18 will argue that LeBron is better than MJ.

I didn't realize it was going to be team statistics and not individual.

I can't make an argument over whether or not Lebron is better than MJ. Personally, I believe Kobe is better than Lebron. But, the stats speak for themselves on that subject.

I think alot of people are just jumping to conclusions on the whole Lebron is the greatest ever argument.

Just sit back and enjoy the show imo.

Exactly, is he the best player in the game right now? Yes. But he still has half his career ahead of him.

Most everyone nowadays will say Lebron is better just based off his recent NBA title win and the fact Jordan's career is being forgotten by social media. The fact will remain that Jordan will always trump Lebron. Even if Lebron wins 8 titles, which wont happen, he still wont be as dominant unless he can knock down his jumper consistently.

When Jordan started to fade, he was still elite because he was a great shooter. Lebron has him in rebounding and an overall better physical skill set. But I mean frick he is supposed to be better at rebounding he's a 6'9 small forward not a 6'6 shooting guard. I dont dislike Lebron but at the end of his career they are going to be two sides to this.

Dick heads like Colin Cowherd and who probably never watched Jordan say Lebron is better, only if he has more rings than MJ. Or guys like Ryen or SVP or SAS who still say MJ was better. Not only did Jordan do more with less physical talent than Lebron, but he's a better passer and shooter. Also better at stealing.

How come every award Jordan has ever won is in this picture but the other 2 are limited to MVP's/Championship trophies?

So just looking at basketball-reference.com and comparing Jordan's 1991 NBA Playoffs vs Lebron's 2012 Playoffs:

MJ:
17 games
FG: 197/376 52.4%
3pt: 10/26 38.5%
FT: 125/148 84.5%
1.1 ORB/game
5.3 DRB/game
6.4 REB/game
8.4 assists/game
2.4 spg
1.4 bpgs
2.5 turnovers
31.1 points

Lebron:
23 games
FG: 251/502 50%
3pt: 22/85 25.6%
FT: 173/234 73.9%
2.3 ORB/game
7.4 DRB/game
9.7 REB/game
5.6 assists/game
1.9 spg
0.7 bpgs
3.5 turnovers
30.3 points

I may be mistaken, but Jordan didn't become a great shooter till later in his career anyway.
