Why on earth would we do that? If we traded the pick for CP3 he would just leave us as a FA in 2013. If we keep the pick he may sign with the Hornets in 2013.

...no

We actually can't due to the no requirement rule, Clippers can't trade CP to the Hornets until after July 1st and by then, that "pick" won't exist.

Nice troll attempt though.

Just having a little fun! I liked Chris Paul as much as anyone ! But he wanted out! We will have the next top new player in Anthony Davis. Go Hawnets.

This is gonna happen. And it's going to be EPIC.

Who would he rather be with:
Del Negro, Griffin and Deandre

OR

Monty (who he loves), Gordon and AD23 (not to mention his connection to the City and Demps)

The Clippers are already set at the PF position, so the Clippers wouldn't make that trade since Davis will be a PF in the NBA.

The Clippers need help at OG and SF. And they need an upgrade at C as well.

Are you concerned about losing CP3? The Clippers really look like they're stuck in the same place the Hornets were. His people wanted him to move to LA for the exposure but Paul really is about winning, or rather he hates losing. I think he'd be very much against locking into a 2nd round at best team for the next 5 years.

Not this year at least. I think he'll wait to sign a new contract after this next season. If things look good long term, he'll sign. If not, he'll bolt.

I'm not sure the Clippers can improve much over the next few years, so it wouldn't surprise me if Paul leaves after the 2012-13 season.

ETA: Even if Paul leaves, I still like the Clippers at PG with Mo Williams and Eric Bledsoe.

IMHO, I think he bolts for New York as soon as he gets the chance.
