January 9th is at the top of my list. Probably because it is the most recent.

'No, actually you don't!'

-The best modern day college basketball team, 99 Duke Blue Devils, losing that heart breaker to UConn.

Kevin Brown dominating the Astros in the '98 NLDS.

Podsednik's walk-off HR in Game 1 of the '05 World Series set the tone for that one.

Stockton's series-ending three in the '97 WCF ended the Big Three era for the Rockets.

Game 7 1997 NBA Western Conference Finals Rockets v Utah

Oilers lose to KC in 93 players after winning 11 straight

1/3/93, maybe the worst single sports day of my life : Oilers blow 32 lead at Buffalo. Saints blow lead and lost to Eagles.

1988 Olympics : US loses to USSR, its the last Olympics before the break up of the USSR. F you John Thompson

UH v NC State.

Super Bowl XL when the Seahawks got screwed over.

Clay Bennett stealing the Sonics, then having them be really good.

The 2001 Seattle Mariners winning 116 games and not making it to the World Series.

In 1990 the Washington Huskies being ranked #2, then losing to a mediocre UCLA team, costing us the National Championship.

As big of a sports fan as I am and as passionate I am for the teams I pull for (LSU, Saints, Hornets), I tend to appreciate any moment opposed to being "heartbroken" over the outcome. In most cases, even if what happens is what I am pulling for to not happen, I chalk it up as just another exciting moment in sports. It just seems like I enjoy sports more with that point of view.

With that said, as for as my teams. With LSU I was obviously disappointed with the outcome of the NC game, but the 2007 Arkansas game was probably one that was the most upsetting for me.

As a lifelong Saints fan, there have been many disappointing moments, but the Jacksonville game in 2003 was a "heart breaker" and I think it was in 1999 or 2000.. Somewhere around that time, but the Saints lost to the Cleveland Browns late in the game. Tim fricken Couch threw a bomb to Kevin Johnson (remember this because it also caused me to lose a fantasy football game) to take the lead and win the game.
